Girls Day!

Hooray for girls day!
Me, Shantel and Melissa all went out to lunch at Chapala's (Melissa's most favorite) and then got pedicures. We had such a great time hanging out and visiting. Melissa lives in Colorado so we had to schedule a girls day while she was here and we had a blast! I am so thankful for my friends and I can't wait to go again!

Recap....

Well the days around here are going slow. I just started a new semester at school and it seems like it will take forever for me to get my bachelors degree. I am finally becoming ok with this. I have spent a lot of nights crying but I have a great husband and he helps me through it. College is just a very stressful thing for me but it is getting better, sometimes I am not sure why I am there but I continue to go changing my major like I change my clothes haha. Right now it is psychology :)

On a more exciting note Zach and I went out on Saturday night with his brother, his wife Erica and his sister Kelsie. We had a blast drinkin' and dancin' It was nice to get out! On Friday night we went over to our friends Tyson and Shantel's and played cards. Tyson taught us a new game called spades and we really liked it. Not to mention doing something that doesn't cost any money we love that :)

Goals..... oh..and arobics class :)

So I went and worked out tonight at the Rec in a water arobics class. Anyone who ever said that water arobics isn't hard has never been, or maybe its because I haven't worked out in forrreeevver! This is the beginning of me working out more and taking better care of my body. Maybe I can even get back to where I was in high school :) haha if I am lucky. Tonight was good though, I forgot how much better I feel when I have worked out. I am trying to eat better too but let's not get ahead of ourselves and take one step at a time haha.

Lately I have been thinking about changing some things in my life. 1. focusing on school more and getting better grades (even though its not my favorite thing in the world) 2. go to church EVERY Sunday and focusing more of my time on God. 3. taking better care of my body. 4. watching my language (oops) I am not too bad but I need to be better :) I have set a goal for myself to really work on these things and come to be a better person for me!

Well I am off to watch my favorite reality show The Bachelor. Happy Monday!

Junkin' :)

Ahhhh.....how I love to get a great deal. I love going to thrift stores and finding cute little treasures for my home. :) My grandma and I found so many things, I can't wait until yard sale season comes back around so I can do that too! Well, I am off to clean my home and put all of my new treasures in their place...

My 21st Birthday!

Yay! I finally turned 21 on the 15th of November! Me, Zach, Chadd, Erica, Eric, Marisa, Tyson and Kelsie had such a blast, dancing, drinking, and playing pool.....oh ya and riding a mechanical bull ;) All of us girls got ready and had the boys take us out "barhopping". Because it was my birthday I got all of my shots for free! But believe me I only need the first 2. We partied until abotu 3am and then headed for what seemed like the longest walk of my life back to Chadd and Erica's apartment (who live in downtown Boise). The partying didn't end there though Chadd and Erica hosted an afterparty...well for the boys anyway, us girls fell asleep..oops :) I had such a great birthday and I am so glad that all of my closest friends could help me celebrate!

Halloween

This year for Halloween we decided to be Hippies! I think we had more fun getting ready for the party we went to that at the actual party! We went with Zach's brother Chadd and his wife Erica and Zach's sister Kelsie. They were all pirates. We had a blast at the party and Zach's mustache was a big hit. We thought he looked like his name would be "Steve" so all night we continued to refer to him as "Steve" :) It was a blast. We can wait to see what we come up with for next year!
